Job Function

The Manager, Cyber Security Governance is a key resource that will be responsible for contributing and executing a strategy roadmap that matures Acronym cyber security capabilities. The successful candidate will have knowledge of principles in cyber security policies and standards, and modern practices with a good understanding of governance
models that support the review and reporting of organizational risks. As a member a dedicated Cyber Security team, the Sr Manager, Cyber Security Governance works closely with senior leadership, team members and staff across Risk, Audit, Legal, HR, Fraud, Operations, and Infrastructure teams to ensure the organization is operating securely.

Accountabilities

1.Proactively lead the implementation of governance initiatives, providing technical and business advice, as well as insight on governance processes.
2.Preparing and maintaining risk register that identifies risk areas and themes to report on the activities for risks issues and remediation progress.
3.Enhancing and maintaining the security risk assessment framework.
4.Aligning and refining Cyber Security policies and standards with industry best practices, pertinent to regulations and standards bodies (NERC CIP, ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, CIS, NIST Series)
5.Prepare, track, maintain and report risk acceptances and security exceptions.
6.Leverage expertise in Cyber Security Management to prepare and conduct security assessments for both planned initiatives and unplanned instances as required.
7.Weigh business needs against security concerns to help guide the business to make practical and informed risk decisions.
8.Review technical documents in line with company policies.
9.Report and measure through Metrics, the effectiveness of the technical controls (KPI/KRI) and propose compensating controls accordingly.
10.Proactively contribute to security governance initiatives, providing technical and business advice, as well as insight on management processes.
11.Implement and enforce the Cyber Security policies and standards with industry best practices, pertinent regulations and standards bodies (NERC CIP, ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, CIS, NIST Series)
12.Support the development and documentation of security processes to support risk management activities across the lifecycle in the SDLC, vendor management office, project management office, risk acceptance.
13.Developing security requirements matrix mapped to organization’s policies and standards.
14.Examine and interpret requirement documents and architecture diagrams and determine security risks to the organization as required.
15.Collaborate with senior leaders and make informed, risk-based recommendations to enhance the security posture of the organization, products and services.
16.Weigh business needs against security concerns to help guide the business to make practical and informed risk decisions.
17.Participate and support security related initiatives and serve as a key interface with external and internal auditors for security compliance related activities.
18.Keep abreast of the cybersecurity threats and assess their potential impact to Hydro One's security posture.
19.Lead and manage a team of [number of people] to achieve business objectives and goals.
20.Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
21.Set performance expectations and goals for team members, and regularly provide feedback on their progress towards meeting those expectations.

28.Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments, and make recommendations for promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions as needed.

Qualifications & Experience
1.Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
2.Minimum 7 years in Cyber Security leadership/senior management/senior roles, preferably within the electric/energy utility sector or other large/multi-national organization.
3.Security certification of one or more of the following: CISSP, CISA, CISM or other security certification
4.Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for cyber risk management, including NIST, ISO, and COBIT.
5.Demonstrated ability to build and implement new processes for governance frameworks and processes.
6.Experience in consulting stakeholders with complex business transformation, technical advisory, and cyber risk strategy underpinned by a deeper subject matter expertise in one or more cybersecurity domains.
7.Consistent record of developing and improving the security posture of enterprise and ICS/OT organization.
8.Strong leadership and analytical skills with a record of people development and technical delivery.
9.Maintain in-depth awareness and understanding of current and emerging cyber security threat, risk and trends.
10.Background in NERC CIP, CSAE3416 SOC 2, PCI DSS, and ITIL is an asset.
11.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
12.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Function:

General Accountabilities:

Monitor for non-payment and follow up and correct errors in account distributions. Follow up on credits and purchase order discrepancies. Review weekly accounts receivable aging report and follow-up with customers to collect outstanding accounts receivable.
Perform credit checks with third parties for potential new customers using credit applications forwarded by sales agents. Perform credit checks on existing customers and vendors, as requested.
Establish and maintain filing systems in accordance with records management policies.

Selection Criteria:

Essential Knowledge:

Requires knowledge of accounting principles and computer technology to prepare statistical and financial reports, journal transfers and account reconciliations related to financial statements.
Requires a knowledge of tax coding and tax jurisdiction policies to prepare customer invoices and pay vendors.
Requires knowledge of computerized accounting and reporting systems such as SAP, CRM 365, Salesforce and ServiceNow to extract various data for the compilation of various statistical/financial reports.
Requires a knowledge of English to communicate effectively with suppliers, requisitioners and customers.
This knowledge is considered to be normally acquired in either Grade XII in a secondary school plus up to one year further concentrated study in accounting or the equivalent.

Job Function:

Working under the direction of the Director of Engineering , the Business Unit's goals/objectives/strategies by providing effective leadership and management direction on protection and control substation infrastructure issues to a team of protection and control design/support staff including contracted external design firms Plan, organize, schedule and coordinate work and assign tasks providing instruction, as required to ensure that projects achieve their deliverables. Develop, obtain approval for and maintain engineering policies, standards, templates and products. Be responsible for the development, and updating of the engineering plans. Maintain an accurate plan and progress schedule by providing consolidated information on the engineering project schedules and projected labour and contract requirements, through the functional engineering departments and external engineering firms, ensuring that critical changes affecting project schedules, cost and quality are addressed. Accountable to manage and co-ordinate the planning and execution of the Protection and Control portion of assigned projects/programs. Job Accountabilities:

Manage the work of the technical engineering team in the delivery of expert engineering/design/analysis services involved in the design, construction, installation, reliability analysis, implementation and provision of technical support for maintenance of Protection and Control systems providing infrastructure systems.
Evaluate the effectiveness of engineering capability through various means (capability assessments, market review of niche engineering capability, quality control, etc.) and recommend contracting of engineering work to increase capability of engineering and to ensure the delivery of engineering designs. Tender and evaluate external engineering capability and select (award) contracts for project deliverables. Assess the performance of staff and external engineering firms on projects, and conduct performance assessments as required. Initiate recommendations on selection of engineering firms.
Assume leadership roles in the management and development of skills training programs required to enhance departmental staff capability.
Perform ongoing management of resources (both internal and external) associated with assigned projects, with respect to monitoring the progress of deliverables, resource consumption and cost. Keep abreast of developments in the external engineering market. Identify and integrate industry capability and best practices as they relate to Protection and Control Engineering. Benchmark performance of engineering delivery services. Make changes to engineering standards and templates as required.
Provide ways and means to improve efficiency and economics of the delivery of engineering services. Communicate with counterparts in similar fields, to exchange views and discuss the merits of improved design and technology.
Prepare and monitor short and long term budgets as related to work load and capacity requirements.
Establish and maintain liaison with external engineering and niche product firms, such as General Engineering firms, Niche design firms (i.e. fire protection) manufacturing and engineering firms (i.e. protection & control). On behalf of engineering, exercise judgment and tact in cultivating potential relationships.
Contribute in the development and documentation of Engineering & Construction Services engineering processes, systems and practices, including new concepts, working culture (people acceptance), philosophy, operating and maintenance of standards and engineering policy in the dynamically changing field of utility engineering.

Provide technical information, advice and assistance to other departments and divisions in problem areas.
Represent the department at meetings and on committees and task groups.

Education:

Supervise Operations Centre(s) technical activities. Plan and direct the day-to-day preventive and other necessary maintenance to rural lines and associated equipment, street lighting systems, rights-of-way including fencing, ditching, tree pruning and weed control, buildings and grounds. Supervise work performed on lines above rural line voltage and be accountable to Zone for work performed.
Plan and direct day-to-day operation relative to the implementation of rural plant.
Supervise the installation of electric service, special metering devices and initiate requests for power meter tests.
Direct the installation and maintenance of fuses, reclosures, breakers, repeater switches and other safety devices in accordance with Zone fuse, coordination plan.
Investigate, and provide details and sketches of proposed line crossings to Zone and direct pole replacement program in accordance with Work Management instructions.
May direct and be responsible for routine maintenance and minor repair relative to stations within area jurisdiction having limited technical responsibility in this regard.
May operate shops, garages or other repair depots engaged in the repair and minor maintenance of quantities of equipment such as fleets of vehicles, boats and/or work equipment, etc.
Supervise Operations Centre office. Ensure staff follow the appropriate processes related to accounting and clerical activities associated with the billing and collection of authorized charges relative to the installation of services and/or revenue from sale of power, the maintenance of area stores and the accounting for tools and office equipment.
Prepare or supervise preparation of reports and the various correspondence relative to Zone operation.
Participate in planning of Zone capital expenditures, such as line extensions, street lighting, plant betterment, etc. Be aware of load growth or other conditions necessitating modification of existing plant or services, or extensions thereto. Study requirements and participate with planning staff in preparation of plans for construction and expenditure, attend meetings and supervise the implementation of the program in accordance with direction.
Manage assigned work processes, monitor, evaluate and recommend changes and/or improvements to ensure efficient and effective completion of work as required in Service Level Agreements or contracts.
Contribute to and review information and estimates provided for negotiating/bidding on distribution work. Evaluate the complete package, identify and recommend potential changes to improve the final package including prices and service levels.
Provide advice and recommendations on capabilities, price, service levels and other deliverables as part of negotiation of Service Level Agreements or Contracts.
Assist in discussions, problem solving and issue resolution with customers regarding negotiation, implementation and ongoing work performance of Service Level Agreements or Contracts.

Advise new customers relative new construction, rates and application procedure and costs. Deal with customer complaints and initiate remedial action. Plan local interruptions necessary for maintenance and advise all affected customers and DOMC of interruptions affecting stations and act on its instruction. Assist in the transfer of customers' supply and services to municipalities and provide various technical and/or administrative services to municipalities upon request or by contract arrangement. Arrange for exhibits, speakers, films, etc, for public meetings and be prepared to participate in local public meetings to promote or defend Corporate policy. Foster good public relations at all times.
Participate in cross-functional teams to implement customer products and programs in the areas of asset planning and operations,customer relations, customer connections, information management, code compliance application of tariffs within timelines.
Liaise with technical specialists within and outside the company for the exchange of data and consultation in areas of mutual interests and integrate the recommendations into policies, processes and products being developed or delivered to customers.
In consultation with the Senior Advisor, Customer Products and Delivery, develop and implement workplans to deliver policies and products designed to address expectations of Customers (LDCs, load customers, generators) regulator and shareholder and improve customers' knowledge and understanding of new obligations and processes in the deregulated Ontario electricity market.
Provide advice and deliver communications products to external groups to assist in their understanding of regulatory codes, business policies and strategies.
Perform miscellaneous duties and tasks such as necessary to process joint use agreements or under take special studies of a clerical or technical nature. May perform work of subordinates as necessary to maintain schedules etc.

The Senior Manager, Real Estate Capital Delivery leads Hydro One's facilities capital delivery and workplace modernization programs, overseeing the planning and execution of sustainment projects, major capital builds, workplace accommodations, and office transformation initiatives. Accountable for project performance, financial stewardship, workforce leadership, and stakeholder engagement, the role ensures facilities and workplace investments are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with enterprise priorities. The position connects capital delivery with workplace experience, helping create productive, modern environments that support Hydro One's operational and talent objectives.

General Accountabilities:

Manage staffing needs, interview/selection process, staff development and adherence to HR/Corporate policies and administer department budget. Plan, organize and schedule the group's work; monitor work progress and quality; conduct performance reviews and provide direction on problem areas.
Support the Director, Facilities & Real Estate in effectively planning, managing, monitoring and controlling the execution of all aspects of the outsourcing governance and outsourcer project approval functions including the preparation and presentation of reporting to the contract governance boards and committees on results and issues. Lead the governance process and future development.
Lead staff in the development of the facilities outsourcing program business plan and budget on an annual basis.
Oversee the management of the facility related projects, approval process and cost savings program initiatives.
Work closely with a variety of groups within the Company (e.g. Stations, Asset Management, Human Resources, Supply Chain Services groups) on several aspects of the outsourcing program, including change proposals, business plan, budget, business case approvals, benchmarking, projects, audits, contract disputes, preparation of materials for senior management and Hydro One Board of Directors, continuous improvement initiatives, etc.
Lead development of recommended strategies and policies related to the facilities outsourcing program and/or projects as it relates to compliance with the outsourcing contract.
Recommend strategies, tactics and positions for the Company to adopt related to negotiation issues requiring the approval of the Executive Committee or Board of Directors. This requires conducting risk assessments and business analysis for the purpose of making the recommendations based on well-founded business cases. The assessments and business cases are to be developed with the aid of multi-disciplined teams that have accountability for various business issues, which may impact revenue requirements, regulatory reporting and compliance issues.
Lead the division in the development of evidence in support of the Company's revenue requirement and regulatory rate applications in both the Transmission and Distribution businesses.
Participate in meeting legal, regulatory and market rules requirements by developing information related to outsourcing strategies, policies and standards, results as required to support submissions to the Regulator. Advise on implications of contract change, strategic direction and business planning across Corporate Services.
