Work in a team atmosphere to corroboratively support the business.
• Reviewing and understanding business requirements, functional and technical specifications, and programming accordingly.
• Utilizing various system utilities, networking, and verification tools to diagnose and enhance system performance.
• Helping with troubleshooting operational data issues.
• Participating in technical design discussions, demos, and daily stand-ups.
• Providing support for various websites, SharePoint, Teams 365 and SAP support, including user assistance .
• Assist with periodic data clean up and review
• Other duties as required

This job will provide the following professional development opportunities:
• Understand operational, regulatory and financial framework behind utilities in Ontario
• Understand SAP and how it's used to enable business process at Hydro One.
• Understand the power system of Ontario and its interconnections to the neighboring systems
• Enhance communication skills by working with multiple departments
• Increase technical knowledge related to software and applications used to support work planning, scheduling and completion
• Knowledge of industry accepted standards
• Knowledge of Hydro One policies and practices

Job requirements:
• Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, and PowerPoint
• Valid class G Ontario license is required.
• Some travel is required.
• Excellent communication, writing, research, and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
