Receive assignments from supervisors in broad terms on specific problems related to assigned area of work. Research available resources and contacts and propose effective recommendations.
Assist in the analysis of problems and development strategies and preferred solution; and assists in the delivery of the solution through service providers.
Assist in the monitoring, control, report on variances and redirection of programs and projects.
Assist in preparation of management reports.
Prepare comprehensive reports and specifications and present solutions, producing necessary documentation.
Assist in the development, definition and preparation of programs, processes, procedures or methods related to management of Forestry work programs.
Maintain basic awareness of advancing technology developments related to transmission/distribution assets.
Work with others as required, assist in resolution of work problems.
Perform other duties as required.

This job will provide you with the following professional development:

Develop Project and Program Management skills
How to set up and conduct efficient meetings
Develop the skills to write effective Briefing notes
Understand how to analyze financial data and its importance for making business decisions
Effective communication skills

Selection Criteria:

Currently in 2nd year or 3rd year of a 4-year Business/Finance program
A valid driver's license
Requires knowledge of technical writing to prepare effective reports.
Requires knowledge of business administration and financial reporting.
Requires mathematics, information technology, analytical studies related to the application, design and performance of the transmission/distribution system.
Demonstrated strong communication, organization and planning skills.
Ability to function effectively as a team member with a demonstrated ability to be an agent of change.
Requires strong working knowledge of Sharepoint, Microsoft Office (Visio/Excel/Word/PowerPoint), SAP, etc.
Requires excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
