Your job duties may include:

• Support compliance programs and initiatives across Forestry operations to help ensure adherence to corporate policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with monitoring compliance metrics, audit results, and reporting activities to identify trends and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in operational reviews, audits, and inspections by helping maintain documentation and tracking corrective actions.
• Support the management of compliance records, including training records, certifications, inspections, and regulatory documentation.
• Assist with the coordination of safety, compliance, and operational communications across regional operation centers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support process improvements and enhance reporting through digital tools and systems.
• Assist with training coordination activities, including scheduling, logistics, record management, and resource preparation.
• Support procurement and inventory activities related to personal protective equipment (PPE), safety equipment, and operational supplies.
• Assist with fleet compliance activities by helping track documentation, inspections, maintenance schedules, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the implementation and use of technology and digital tools used to manage operational compliance and reporting.
• Participate in operation center visits to gain an understanding of field operations, safety programs, and compliance practices.
• Provide general project, administrative, and operational support to the Forestry team as required.

Job requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with data, records, and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must have a valid G license 

Hydro One requires that all students applying for student opportunities be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and be returning to full-time studies upon the completion of their work term. Exceptions will be made in cases where students require a work term in order to graduate.
