Job Function:
We are currently seeking a motivated Advisor, HR Analytics to join our team. In this role, you will support operational reporting, collaborate with peers and team lead to develop dashboards and data visualizations, and help uncover analytical insights that inform a wide range of HR programs and workforce planning initiatives. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical and analytical capabilities by working with large and complex workforce datasets, translating business requirements into actionable insights, and supporting the delivery of strategic analytics solutions. Working closely with HR COEs and business leaders, you will gain exposure to key areas such as total rewards, workforce planning, talent management, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and organizational effectiveness.
General Accountabilities:
Through collateral relationships with respect to the Strategic Talent Management consultants, and within context provided by the Strategic Talent Management consultants, provide the following:
Support the design and execution of the policies, processes necessary to strategically use performance management as a foundational tool to increase employee engagement and business results. Support of the Performance Management process includes:
- Goal Setting, Career Development Planning and Performance Assessment policies, processes and execution
- Mid-year and year-end performance cycle / calibrations (includes communications, support presentations and documents, business partner readiness, training/education)
- Adhoc support for performance management inquiries / issues including the Talent Management Mailbox and escalations
- Ongoing training and online reference material for leaders
- Support for HR Operations Team
- Support the design and execution of the policies, processes necessary to strategically use succession management program to increase our leadership pipeline and prepare our future leaders for successful careers at Hydro One
- Support the design, implementation and company-wide support for Hydro One’s People Strategy programs and policies including but not limited to Performance Management, Succession Management Program and Career Development
- Support the design, implementation and sustainment of the Performance, Succession, Calibration, Development, and Employee Files Modules in SuccessFactors
- Support and coordinate company-wide communications and education initiatives related to Talent Management initiatives
Selection Criteria:
- Education: Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is required. Work Experience: Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in Human Resources and/or administrative role. Knowledge of HR trends and understanding of talent management best practice

- Teamwork – able to work with others as part of a team, as opposed to working separately or competitively Computer Skills - Proficiency in MS-Office is required
- Communication - Strong Interpersonal skills, both written and oral
- Detail Orientation - Strong Attention to detail
- Problem Solving - Ability to make good judgments and troubleshoot system issues
- Asset: Experience using Success Factors and SAP is required. Familiar with other HRIS, SharePoint, and Collective Agreements
