Job Purpose:

Responsible for the monitoring and governance of Hydro One’s top strategic initiatives and overall strategy execution.  Requires facilitation and collaboration with strategic initiative leads, sponsors, and executive leadership.  This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the strategy implementation office (SIO).

General Accountabilities:

• Provide a bullet point list of the responsibilities and duties of this job
• Identify and select initiatives that deliver strategic value and maximize business value which should be supported and tracked by the SIO 
• Recommendations made to the Director, Strategy Development.
• Portfolio Management & Reporting – Manages the interdependencies between and among SIO projects and prepares monthly reports for the executive leadership team. 
• Ensures appropriate oversight and governance for all SIO projects.
• Establishes regular touchpoints with leaders of SIO project to provide guidance and support throughout project lifecycle with a focus on benefits realization. 
• Share best practices and lessons learned across all lines of business

Selection Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, accounting, or related field
• Preferred: MBA 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in a strategy implementation office and/or utility sector preferred
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and extensive project management experience
