Hiring salary range: $2,064.34 - $3,189.88 / bi-weekly

You will be a member of the Internal Audit group who support the Company’s objectives of designing and maintaining effective systems of internal control.

Your job duties may include:

  • Support the Internal Audit group with a heavy emphasis on supporting project coordination and management. 
  • Assist in conducting testing for Information Technology General Controls, Business Controls and Entity Level Controls thereby developing strong auditing and analytical skills.
  • Track findings based on testing including remediation plans and compensating controls.
  • Conduct process owner interviews to allow for the creation or updates to control documentation including risk control matrices, flowcharts and narratives for different processes.
  • Provide support to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively to ensure compliance with National Instrument 52-109 legislative requirement.
  • Perform other ad-hoc internal audit and control certification duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Discipline: Business with a concentration in Accounting, Finance or IT.
  • Academic Level: Minimum completion of 3 years of academic studies.
  • Expertise with Excel, Word and PowerPoint is a must.
  • Competence with the following will be beneficial: Microsoft Teams,SharePoint, Visio and SAP.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
