You will be a member of the above group, which is responsible for:

  • Defining short and long term inspection and replacement strategies for Transmission Lines Assets.
  • Managing transmission lines capital projects and programs.
  • Managing transmission lines maintenance programs.

 

Your job duties may include:

  • Developing and updating Scopes of Work for Condition Assessment and Preventive maintenance.
  • Creating and updating maintenance plans in SAP for both Overhead lines and Underground cables.
  • Generating and releasing maintenance work orders to the service providers.
  • Managing in-year changes to maintenance programs based on service provider updates
  • Inputting asset condition data to SAP.
  • Identifying component assessment and replacement needs.
  • Analyzing reliability data from TODS database.
  • Analyzing condition data from Asset Analytics and SAP.
  • Querying financial and work accomplishment from BI/BW.
  • Ensuring Hydro One’s maintenance programs are aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Preparing for business planning and rate filing for both maintenance and capital drivers.
  • Preparing documentation and response to customer inquiries.

 

This job will provide you with the following professional development:

  • Understanding the basics of the Ontario Transmission Grid System, particularly on transmission Lines assets.
  • Understanding of business planning process for Transmission Lines.
  • Understanding of Lines maintenance activities.
  • Acquiring various software knowledge – excel, access, SAP.
     
      Selection Criteria:
  • Discipline: Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering
  • Academic Level: University with minimum 2 or more years of undergraduate studies completed (preferably 3 years completed)
  • Additional Requirements: Excellent communication skills.  Experience with Microsoft word, and Excel

 

This position will be Hybrid.
