General Accountabilities:

• Under the direction of the supervisor – Station Maintenance, carry out the maintenance jobs and projects of power and auxiliary equipment at work center and various transformer and distribution stations.
• Will be responsible for oral and written reports on the activities of assigned work, written reports on equipment condition.
• Also, will be responsible for productivity, work quality, safety, etc. for assigned work.

Selection Criteria:

Essential Knowledge:

• Must have 433A Millwright qualifications, with strong welding and fabrication experience.  In addition, basics technical skills, good judgement, sound business ethics and high standards of safety and efficiency.
• Requires proven abilities for effective workload management, communications and administration as well as having potential for advancement.
• Computer knowledge and skills as well as experience with SAP would be beneficial.
• Must be able to qualify for or hold a valid Class “G” licence.
• Minimum – Grade 12 or equivalent education.
• Must have successfully completed college or equivalent trades certificate
• Must have at least 3 years’ millwright experience, with welding and fabrication as an asset.
• Experience with Transmission and Distribution Station maintenance work is an asset.
• This position will require overnight absences from your regular work headquarters.
