Hiring Salary Range: $137,700.00-178,200.00 / year

- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of project management and project controls frameworks
- Oversee the development and adoption of standards, procedures, and methodologies
- Ensure governance documentation remains current, compliant, and aligned with best practices
- Govern stage gate processes, including reviews, evaluations, and recommendations
- Support development of project charters and business cases
- Lead audits and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance and identify risks
- Maintain and update QA plans and frameworks
- Ensure consistent application of regulatory and industry standards
- Lead and develop a specialized team, including subordinate managers and SMEs
- Set performance objectives, support career development, and drive workforce planning
- Oversee recruitment and build high-performing, engaged teams
- Translate organizational strategy into actionable plans across teams
- Provide expert input into enterprise planning and decision-making
- Manage budgets and provide financial guidance for medium- to long-term priorities
- Build and influence relationships with senior leaders and external partners
- Represent the organization in industry forums, committees, and partnerships
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to drive alignment and decisions
- Lead risk identification, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote a culture of safety, operational integrity, and excellence
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Science (Electrical, Industrial, or Process preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in project management or governance
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams
- Experience in utilities or heavy industry (e.g., power, oil & gas, mining, manufacturing)
- PMP, AACE, PQS
- Lean, Six Sigma, KAIZEN, or similar methodologies
- Strong knowledge of project management, project controls, QA, and compliance frameworks
- Experience leading audits, risk assessments, and governance reviews
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in large-scale industrial environments
- Proven ability to lead high-performing technical teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder influencing skills at senior levels
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Hybrid work model with primarily office-based work
- Occasional travel (approximately 15–25%) to project sites and partner locations
- Quarterly site visits; ability to work in industrial environments with PPE
- Flexibility to support critical milestones, including occasional evenings/weekends
- Play a key role shaping enterprise-wide project governance and performance
- Lead impactful, high-visibility initiatives
- Work with a collaborative leadership team and skilled professionals
- Contribute to safe, sustainable, and efficient infrastructure delivery
